COMMON QUESTIONS

Connecting leads, customers, and follow-up.

Does CRM acquire leads or manage customer relationships?

CRM manages existing or permissibly collected leads, customers, follow-ups, and opportunities so teams can track sources and next steps. Provisioning CRM does not automatically supply prospect lists or guarantee conversions or sales.

What should be checked before moving customer records into CRM?

Confirm data sources and usage permissions, then review fields, customer identifiers, duplicates, owners, and visibility. Migration method and effort depend on the existing data and integration scope. Validate mappings and results with authorized samples before the full migration.

How does CRM connect with customer order records?

Within the account’s authorized scope, customer identifiers and APIs link the relevant order information so follow-up can reference transactions and fulfilment. CRM and Orders retain responsibility for their own records and permissions; databases are not merged to enable unrestricted sharing.
