COMMON QUESTIONS

Choosing skills: source and execution.

What is in the skill library?

Skills are methods and references for a kind of task, usually provided by a third party. The library collects them by use case so you can review source, licence, and execution. A listing does not mean Runlume resells it or has provisioned it for your account.

Are skills provisioned or executed by a platform subscription?

No. Skills are not provisioned or executed by a platform subscription; execution depends on the assistant, model, and dependencies you use. Review the provider’s licence terms and validate results in a controlled environment.

Who is responsible for data and results when using a skill?

Skills run in the environment you choose; the user confirms inputs, data destinations, and outputs. For confidential material, agree on approved environments, transfers, and retention first, and review results before using them in business decisions.

Can I contribute or request a custom skill?

The library will add more open-source and custom skills over time. If you have a specific task in mind, contact us with the use case and goal; the team will assess feasibility, licensing, and delivery.
